I am a teacher and an artist living in Norwalk, CT.   

 

During one particularly cloudy day in early June of 2023, I was inspired to paint. At the time, I was eager for summer to begin, and looking forward to the endless joy the season always brings. I didn't know what my end product would be, but hours later, I had painted "Summer Brain," which became the first work in my Beach Shack series. When painting, I draw inspiration from my own coastal community and from my travels to places like Cape Cod and the Bahamas. I try to capture that summer feeling in every piece I create.  

 

Shortly after sharing some of my work publicly, I began receiving commissions for paintings and digital paintings of clients' favorite places. This became the focus of my business. ​​

 

Then in February of 2024, I got engaged to my now husband. I immediately began planning, and realized I could do all of the design work (invitation suite, wedding crest, signage…) myself. I got so much enjoyment out of creating a beautiful, cohesive, and personalized aesthetic for our wedding that I began offering my design services to other brides and grooms, too.
